Tornadoes of Filth

Well, the weather over the past few days in London has been, as my mother would say, REVOLTING!! The wind has been the strongest I have ever encountered. Walking down the street is near impossible, and unbrellas are useless! The gale force winds are whipping up all of London's litter and dead leaves in to disgusting whirl-winds, and your eyes become clogged with grit. It is so FUNNY though, and all you can do is laugh out loud as tears stream down your face and your feet literally lift off the ground! 3 of London's major train stations are out of order tonight and truck-drivers are advised not to drive!
I noticed in today's paper that Adelaide had the highest temperature of all world cities! Oh to be warm. Oh well, summer is only 4-6 months away!!!

In front of the Berlin Wall.

All rugged up in Hamburg - standing over a canal (there are more bridges in Hamburg than in Venice!)

Rich and I on new years eve.

Martin, Paulie, Tyson and Richard before heading out on new years eve.

Michelle, me, Cailtlin, Karine and Beth before hitting the town of Hamburg on new years eve!

Me and my darling friends Caitlin and Karine on Christmas day.

First Christmas as husband and wife!

Beth and Pip on Christmas morning!

Our lovely Christmas lounge room that Beth decorated. So cosy!

We came across these 2 lads on the beach in Thailand. Make up your own minds.....

Yay! It's an odd year!!

Happy new year everyone!! We had a wonderful, over-indulgent Christmas, followed by a noisy, drunken new years in Hamburg, Germany. Noisy, due to the obscene amount of fireworks let off at the stroke of midnight!! It was unreal.
So now it is 2007...I am happy about that, as I have good feelings about odd-numbered years.
I have started work in a wonderful fertility clinic just a 7 minute walk from my house!! It is great to get back in to the swing of things (sort of). Rich is currently looking for work...he is attending interview after interview. Won't be long!! We are happier than ever - still married!!
Beth and Paul are still living with us, and for a further 2-3 weeks. They are job/house hunting at the mo. All the fun London stuff!! So its Friday tomorrow. I have work drinks already which is great! And then dear ol' Ains is coming down to London for the day. Love spending time with my old chum!! We will try and do something free - like a museum/church or something along those cultural lines!!
So at last it is getting lighter...it is not quite pitch black at 5pm which is so exciting! And there are daffodils in the park, which is scary but exciting (global warming...).
So I hope you are all well and happy and loving life as much as I am.
